How different news companies advertise their news to their target audience - Lucy

Our news package, Student talk news, is aimed at students so we will want to make our report as engaging and interesting as possible. I researched different news companies and the ways they advertise their news based on their target audience. For example, BBC News would have a clear and simple layout for everyone, while Vice news has a busier layout with funny memes and edits for students and younger people. The Guardian newspaper, aimed at pensioners and adults has a simple layout on their website that younger people would find boring and elders would find easier to read. News companies like The Guardian and The Daily Mail are also taken more seriously as they still print newspapers.
