Henry Jenkins' view on film and cinema elicits how new media gives us a better experience for film and how it will adapt in the future.
This video explores the ways of experiencing films in better and interactive ways and what makes them more enjoyable, e.g. in colour instead of black and white. For example, The Oculus Rift (VR) gives you a whole new perspective of watching a film as you are literally stepping inside the video (as if you're part of the film, even though you're still just watching it.) It gives us an idea of how far film has come in the past century and how it will become even more personal in the future. For example, in the future it could be possible for us to be in the actual film and talk to the actors while we watch the film?!
