Over the past week, I have been trying to convert the ticker videos for our news report so that they are transparent and so another video can go behind it on After Effects. However, even after looking at online tutorials and asking others how to do this, the video always fails to be transparent. In resolution, I have made the tickers on Premiere Elements as it allows you to edit with text over videos. I decided that using After Effects is useless when it comes to converting videos that are translucent, so to not waste any more time, I'm going to use programmes that I enjoy using and that I know how to use when it comes to editing.
