Filming day 2 (at Middlesex) - Group post

On the 6th February, we went to film at Middlesex University where we filmed for the first interview, cutaways, 'chat to the public' shots, various reporter shots and establishing shots.

First, we went to the Sunny Hill house wellbeing services. We took 2 cameras and two tripods for the reason of capturing 2 views for the interview with Kate Woodstow. She had a lot to say in her answers and we found her advice very helpful and useful for our report.

Camera 1 (used to shot most of the shots throughout the day) is Anna's Nikon D3500 DSLR which has higher quality than Camera 2 (which is a JVC Camcorder from school) but still has a good recording quality. We took Anna's tripod and one school HAMA tripod. We also use microphones on the cameras to control the audio quality and for the reporter, we used the microphone on a pair of earphones that records the voice recording onto a phone.

We all met at Middlesex around 9:30am for 10:00am as planned and we filmed the interview with Kate. It took about 30 minutes as we only asked 3 questions but we got enough information from her for our report.
Then we went to the front entrance of Middlesex where we   filmed for the introduction...

After we walked around the campus asking students what they thought about the news topic, if they know about mental health support at Middlesex, does it help etc. This footage will back up our report from a student's point of view so our target audience can hopefully relate.
